When you want to know if you're pregnant, our pregnancy test is the perfect solution. By measuring hCG levels, the test can determine if you have become pregnant. hCG is a hormone produced by the embryo to stimulate the production of progesterone in the corpus luteum. This hormone causes the uterus to form more blood vessels, providing optimal conditions for egg implantation and growth. It usually takes about 7-10 days after fertilization before hCG levels can be detected in the urine.
Early signs of pregnancy can be noticed as early as week 3, but it is uncommon. Usually, it takes until week 4 or 5 before you truly notice the signs of pregnancy. At that point, you will likely notice a missed period. You may also experience changes in appetite and feel tired and nauseous.
Preparations: Ensure that the test and urine sample are at room temperature (15-30 °C). Use a clean and dry container to collect the urine sample. It is recommended to perform the test the first time you urinate in the morning, but you can collect samples at any time during the day. For pregnancy tests, the sample should be collected at the end of urination to wash away urethral flora. Point the container into the urine stream and transfer 2-5 ml of urine to the specimen container.
Effect of medications: Medications containing hCG can give a false positive result. Other medications, such as alcohol, oral contraceptives, pain relievers, antibiotics, or hormone treatments without hCG, do not affect the test result.
Procedure: Remove the test from the pouch and use the pregnancy test immediately (within one hour). Remove the cap from the test and place the absorbent tip in the urine flow for at least 15 seconds or place the absorbent tip in a clean cup with urine. Replace the cap on the test and place it on a clean and stable surface. Start the timer. Read the result after 3 minutes. Do not interpret results shown after 10 minutes.
